Changes to RT web site

Posted: 9/9/2009

As you will have noticed, there have been some changes made to the Rowing Tasmania website.

The new Rowing Tasmania logo appears on each page, along with the `rainbow` photo of Lake Barrington. We thank mdproshots. for their support of Rowing Tasmania through the use of this image.

Rowing Tasmania is working through the process of standardising its documents in PDF format, rather than the collection of Word, Excel and PDF files used in the past. As part of this process a number of documents have been updated on the Safety page, including Coach Boat Usage, Swamping Drill, Swimming at LBI and Traffic Rules.
On the SDO page, the Concept 2 Drag Factor Settings document has been revised.
New or revised documents on the Documents page include Insurance Policy Details, the Rowing Tasmania Registration form for 2009/10 (for rowers, coaches and coxes) and the Rowing Tasmania Affiliation form (for Clubs and Schools).

Please notify the website manager if you find any errors in these documents.

Posted: 13/8/2007

I thought some of you might be interested in these photos taken at Lake Barrington taken last Friday afternoon at 3pm. If you can remember back to last season, then recall the regattas when the only way to access the ways was to wade through deep, claggy mud because the water levels had dropped so much....................now open up these pictures and see the other extreme!
